We are a community chamber orchestra based in Sharon, MA.

We are currently on winter break. Rehearsals resume January 21. Our next concert is March 23.

The SCCO, led by Music Director Michael Korn, performs award-winning programming for the enjoyment of the community. The orchestra generally performs three concerts each season featuring many Boston-area professional musicians. Members come from a variety of backgrounds, primarily amateur adult players, but also music educators and students.

Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening from 7 to 9pm at the First Congregational Church 29 North Main Street, Sharon.
We are actively seeking the following musicians to join us: trumpet, all strings (especially cellos) and oboe. Additionally, we are accepting substitutes for any instrument for our sub list. If you’re interested in playing with us or want more information, please contact us at scco-board@googlegroups.com. We would love to hear from you!

We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health's WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier. EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders are eligible for a complimentary ticket. See the complete list of participating organizations offering EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare discounts.
